Dr. Harris is a professor in the Department of Health Services and Information Management at East Carolina University, Director of the Health Information Management program, and Fellow of the American Health Information Management Association. She received her undergraduate degree in Health Information Management, Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in health care administration degree, and doctor of philosophy degree in Rehabilitation Studies all from East Carolina University. She has 17 years of experience in health care administration.
