Program graduates have gone on to hold title such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief of Patient Affairs and Accountability, Director of Patient Access, Strategic Operations Manager, Revenue Cycle Manager, Medical Records Manager, Practice Manager, Senior Regulatory Compliance Analyst, Senior Informaticist, HIMS Operations Supervisor, Business Intelligence Analyst, Privacy Analyst, Data Engineer, Clinical Systems Administrator, and Clinical Quality Coordinator, to name a few.

The department offers two undergraduate and one graduate degree along with four post-baccalaureate certificates. All degrees are accredited/certified by the bodies overseeing their respective discipline as a testament to their quality, rigor, and industry-aligned knowledge development. Furthermore, our BS in Health Information Management (HIM) and HIM Graduate Certificate are the only programs in North Carolina that earn you eligibility to sit for the coveted Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credentialing examination.
